CATL and NETA Auto Enter into a Ten-Year Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
On May 24, 2024, CATL and NETA Auto signed a ten-year comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai.
Under the agreement, the two parties will engage in comprehensive strategic cooperation from 2025 to 2034. NETA Auto will choose CATL as its primary supplier of EV batteries, while CATL will provide NETA Auto with competitive EV battery products and related services. The two parties will also collaborate on areas such as zero-carbon application, CIIC (CATL integrated intelligent chassis), battery swapping, V2G (vehicle to grid), battery recycling, and global market development. This collaboration will assist NETA Auto in realizing its vision of making advanced technology and high-quality intelligent electric vehicles accessible to all.
CATL and NETA Auto have a long history of cooperation, and NETA Auto's first model was powered by CATL batteries. The agreement marks the beginning of another decade of collaboration between the two companies.
